Technical Difficulties

Having some technical difficulties with some aspects of my blog - editing for one - and not finding it particularly user-friendly. Hope this changes as I'm looking forward to using it to post pictures and info about the trip.

One Month and One Week to Go!

On June 9, I'll be driving my beautiful black Honda Civic, the "Old Soul", to Wisconsin to visit one of my two sisters, Jackie, and her husband, Jim, whom I haven't seen in about 20 years.  Getting pretty excited about the trip - which is just over 1,000 miles - and I'm sure I'll be getting nervous about the drive as the date gets closer.  The plan is that I'll drive about nine hours a day with a stop the first night, then arrival on day two. I'll stay through the 16th, then head back to Vermont. We plan to belatedly celebrate our birthdays and Easter, and spend lots of time catching up.&nbspThere will be visits and celebrations with her daughter and grandchildren.  It will be a most memorable trip, without a doubt!
